The idea that has given birth to the project is to show the endless motion of the time in a pocket watch, an accessory that has always been associated with luxury, elegance and style. Pocket Motion appears as a glass-made stone with a circular shape, cause circle is the emblem of never ending space and time.
Pocket Motion can be used in two different ways: if turned off, it looks like a jewel of minimal design; if turned on, it becomes a digital watch. In the center red led lights display hours and minutes, while a red needle ring around as the seconds go by. This red line, visible from the top and from the side, is the main feature of the object.
Materials used for construction come from contemporary design: stainless steel for the case and mirror glass for the the dial.
Flexibility is the most important aspect of the project: everybody knows that pocket watch is usually a male accessory, but Pocket Motion perfectly fits also female fashion needs. With just one gesture, the typical watch-strap can become a necklace for the watch.
Pocket Motion is available in two different colours, black for gentlemen and white for ladies.
