pixel is an interior door handle for both private and public spaces, with an embedded piece composed by squares made of different materials: wood, cork and ceramics.
the name "pixel" comes from the small squares that compose the embedded images (possible to be customized by the client).
the handle is in chrome matte and the embedded elements are made of the same wood used in some of the handles of colombo design: makassar ebony, violet wood and pear wood. additionally, the cork and ceramic tiles are allusive to the portuguese identity.
the handle is designed to be produced with the manufacturing technologies used by colombo design. for the ceramic tiles it is suggested the use of digital printing technology.
