Pinch by Daniel Swann from uk
designer's own words:
‘pinch’ following the language of its anatomical counterpart, is a door lever with structural and organic qualities. the object retains a minimal footprint created through the tapering main body before turning into a robust but slender handle.
die-cast manufactured in aluminium, the door lever is cast in a single piece, before being mounted on a traditional rose plate. an aluminium stamped section covers the rose plate/ springs, to conceal were the screws will be inserted in order to attach the door levers to the door. the right handle is a direct mirror copy of the left handle shown.
all dimensions & proportions of ‘pinch’ fit to standardised parts and conventional measurements, fitting to standard door thicknesses, bore hole and latch sizes.
