the design was thought of as a recognizable basic shape with an operation. by taking an imaginary rectangle shape pipe and bend it 90 degrees a simple and elegant object is to be created. the curved lines obtained add a note of dynamicity and marks the inflexion point for the handle. it also makes the spatial transition from the rectangle sections naturally and material conscious.

the result is a simple and versatile door handle with a story that one can acknowledge while using it; a sincere and abstract object that reveals everything about its name and origin in the most straightforward way. having and telling a story about itself brings it a step closer to the users.
