designer's own words:

The curiosity is essential to human being. It is not an instinct only for the childhood. All generations have it all the time. And curiosity is stimulated by various things. All of those things are not only complicated things. We believe that the aggregation of simple elements have force to stimulate curiosity better than complicated one. This time, we have created a device composed by simple elements which makes moire effect. It is called "Phenomenon". Our project will invite all generations to the amazing world they have never experienced and their curiosity must be stimulated then. This device consist of 2 kind of parts. A metallic base which is stick a acrylic pole in the centre. And acrylic disks which printed various graphics by the silkscreen. Turn with hand the disks which pile on the base. Simple objects with simple graphic patterns and simple action make amazing phenomenon. Enjoy it.
