Perfect Cadence (Twinkle Twinkle)

A perfect cadence in musical terms is the interval between notes, a prime example of which is used by the 8 year old Mozart in ‘Twinkle twinkle little star…’ extending this Austrian idea. These tiles will represent the night sky, showing the intervals between the stars.
Each tile will depict a different constellation. Making it possible for clients to install a favourite or personally meaningful part of the sky, to re-arrange the night sky, or to stare at its entirety.
The tiles are embedded with fibre optics, which light the crystals.
Some of the crystals have reflectors behind them, like cat’s eyes, in order that they reflect rather than emit the light. Like stars and planets.
The Moon will be a heavily crystalled tile, and will form the brightest light. Circled by aurora.
The Milky Way will stretch across several tiles.
The tile can various colours, and will have a double-life, in the day and at night.
The tiles can be used on floor or walls.
‘Like a diamond in the sky…’
