the main objective is to pursue function first and appearance second even if it is complex to avoid outcome that are plastically good. this product is meant to show simplicity, functionally and high quality, giving colombo design a new luxury option for its clients. In this design there is a fusion between textures, reflections, illuminations etc. light is not only a foundation of illumination, but a brilliant architect of form.

the product comes in two options; the first is having leather integrated in the product, the leather would cover the untouched part of the handle to avoid hygienic issues, the customer would be given many options of different leather, which as part of the “eco” product could incorporate a new for of leather treatment, and also keep their metal making the product local. the second option would be playing with texture within the same metal, which would give different shadows and lights. with these two options the customer has more of a personal connection with the product, and choice a state of the art piece. a visual drama is set on a incredibly basic stage.
