pasta vs plastic

designer's own words:

In times of global warming and climate change a
project was set up to create more sustainable daily products. I created a “compostable snack bowl” made of pasta dough, which is normally used to make
pasta bolognese. The main problem was that we produced many plastic waste while having a little snack for
lunch. To decrease the waste impact of packaging
I used natural material like pasta which contains only water and flour.
I used the shape of a certain Italian pasta as an analogy for this product’s final form.
The bowl contains a conventional meal or snack.
This product has many advantages instead
of a PVC snack bowl and in addition it is stackable, sturdy and production costs are low.
