origami hand bag by Sambhu Patel from india
designer's own words:
My name is Sambhu Patel and currently I am pursuing my post Graduate diploma in Lifestyle Accessory Design from National Institute of Design, India. This was a classroom project called '3D Textiles' as part of our curriculum. We chose to work on deployable structures of fabric. One of the major inspiration for this Hand bag was origami. The basic idea behind the project was to make it simple, minimalist and trendy. The material used to make this bag is felt which gives a feel of brown chart paper in terms of its appearance. The making process was also very simple, just using simple folding and applying creases using a steam iron.
