‘openwide’ as a concept was derived from an experimental process and the interest to develop conventional objects.
A tiles main function is to protect and decorate a surface/space.
‘openwide’ looks more at what you can achieve behind this surface (the wall) as well as the wall. The internal surface (the bubble) has its functional side, a hook, and a holder… but also creates more depth to its given environment. The tile could be used in both domestic and commercial environments and not just in the bathroom.
The manufacturing process is one of forming heated plastic.
