open! is a door handle meant for the young. the young at heart if you must.
it's a joke giving to form cognitive values associated with language. shaped liked an exclamation point it could bring about many different understandings. For me it calls for action - open!
the shape itself, regardless the exclamation point connection, looks impossible to exist performing such function. it looks as if it's gonna brake or detach when turned. but the impossible made possible, brings joy to ours minds.
as a finishing touch, the cap of the handle can be anodized in many different colors. creating a playful distinction between handle and door.
