door handle one - one shape fits all
door handles are, in architecture, are mostly a concern at the end of the design process. door handles are fitted throughout the building’s interior and exterior, and they will have to meet a vast variety of requirements and conditions. a collection of different handles are selected, and the designer often creates a family within this collection, based on quality, shape and material. wouldn’t it be great to have a door handle including rose, that can be used throughout the whole building? an elegant and versatile shape that can meet various requirements and can be used in- and outdoors in various materials.
one is build out of 1 shape that fits comfortably in your hand. it has a base (rose) with the same shape. the base and the handle create a continuous, non distracting and yet eloquent form for a variety of situations, indoor and outdoor. all handles in the building can be the same visual quality and continuity, and can be made of the same material; stainless steel, anodised aluminum, coated or in any other suitable material. the base is fitted for different lock type and positions, as indoor and outdoor industry sizes vary.
