Can we bring sensuality of OLED light to the most intimate experience of shower space?

Let us imagine a shower tub as a light surface. There, ambient light is integrated into a common architectural element, changing our perception of it and bringing a new experience to everyday ritual. This experience is combination of unlikely pair of sensations. It occurs while we stand naked on this light surface, where our body is emphasized, like a sculpture being poured with water from the above. A game of body movements, water, light and in-between light refractions comes into play. Warm water rain, soft and natural OLED light, bathtub drain - OLEDRAIN.

OLEDRAIN is conceived as a standard compact product ready to be installed. It consists of the layers of OLED sheet under the standing tub surface made of plexiglass. Plexiglass panel is inclined to move water to the stainless steel Gratings along one side. The built-in Sensor controls intensity of light proportionally to the flow of water. This product has a look and experience of a luxury item, although it comes from enhancing the most standard dwelling element.
