designer's own words:
our proposal for this logo is based on the concept of the new into the old. the shadow that highlights the text "moleskinerie" is built from the font of moleskine, while the main text is drawn with a font of the universe of media and popular culture. it is intended to tell the consumer that a product with tradition, name and value is behind an innovative idea that will change your relationship with the product itself.
our logo is somewhat dynamic, allowing its use in different ways (as shown in the examples shown). the shadow may change its position as needed without losing the relationship with the physical object with its suggested three-dimensionality.
