designer's own words:

O-hana is a transformable hanging lamp. it can transform according to the user needs. Shaped like a flower and also can emit an odor like a real flower.
Combine OLED light technology and bamboo material, both have incredible levels of flexibility that can even be bent up to 180 degree.

O-hana consist of 12 OLED light module covered with bamboo woven. it divided into 3 group of layer that can move separately and pulled by nylon string and electric motor.
The use of bamboo as the main frame and cover also waste plastic bottle as a binder knot between the bamboo aims to reduce the waste and raise the value of material (upcycle).

Can be operate via smartphone apps. It can changing the module form (folding), turning on/off the lights automatically (timer mode), able to show the graphs of lamp usage overtime (time management) and also can emit the flower odor from the air freshener system inside O-hana.

The light and shadow generated by O-hana are unique due to the bamboo woven pattern on each module. O-hana transform the way we see Matsuyama city both inside and outside.
