No Entry by ben ho-sing poon from china
designer's own words:
Door Handle No-Entry take reference from common signage for “no entry” and employ it to invite users to take action and turn it in to an entry handle. A vertical handle gives a more friendly and ergonomic form as an entry push bar.
By the signal it represents, it also informs the user to ring a bell or seek authority before going in. That approves to turn and then enter.
The handle also provides a passageway for minor items like letters or message to get through without having to open the door or when nobody is there.
