The objective of the Thesis is the CREATION OF AN INSTITUTION OF DESIGN in a metropolitian city New Delhi.
Space planning for a School of Design, integrated with the city for the city for a more trans disciplinary or non - disciplinary approach towards education. Learning by interaction. Functioning of a college campus.
Urban plazas and squares as a very influential tool for place making. Functional requirements of various components of a college.
The Programme requires accommodation for 600 students and 130 staff members apart from all other necessities of an institutional setup.
Design based on the following ideas : deriving an architectural language from the natural landscape and planning of spaces that induce creativity and interaction
