Time is a dimension in which events can be arranged from the past through the present into the future, usually measured as seconds, minutes, hours, days, years, and so on. A watch usually tells time in hours, minutes, and seconds of the day. The project explores a simple way for a watch to display time base on the user's level of curiosity.

There are many ways to communicate time on a watch, but how specific does the information need to be? the answer varies depending on the occasion. In most cases, you might just want to get a rough idea of the time of the day. On the other hand, when an important meeting is coming up, you might want the information shown on the watch be very specific. Thus, we asked ourselves: can some of the information on the watch be kept out of sight when not needed, and only appears as it becomes relevant to the user? The end result is a extreme minimal watch face with hidden increments on the inner side wall. The user can make out the general time by reading the directions of the hands when viewed straight on, and can simply tilt the watch slightly to see the increments on the side wall if more precise time needs to be read. The overall form of the watch is slight tapered, making the sidewall angled down in order to stay completely concealed when viewed from the front. The top glass is slightly curved and the strap is made of flexible rubber with size adjustment cutouts.
