this logo design clearly communicates the main business of moleskine/moleskinerie with an aesthetically eye pleasing, flowing work of art. it consist of graphic and text elements which together form an unmistakable and beautiful piece of the brand identity. simple, yet bursting with information, this design not only promotes the phisical products of moleskine, but also the interactivity of the moleskinerie blog. when looking at the logo, you almost feel invited - it's like looking at two blank pages of a moleskine notebook and longing to fill it with creativity. the "m" cleverly blends into the design disguised as the pages of a notebook, the "s" is the termination of a bookmark ribbon and the "i" is represented with a graphic symbol of yet another product of moleskine - the pencil. the colors are chosen to depict the environmental friendly (green) attitude of moleskine towards planet earth. together these graphic elements and text creates a powerful logo.
