the idea was to maintain the original moleskine logo written in Copperplate fonts and differentiate the remaining three letters R I E by means of using orange arial fonts, thus expressing its “online” existence through the arial fonts used widely on the web and a reference to the orange colour used in symbolism for blogs and rss. in order to clarify the “online” identity a dot was placed as a playful addition.
