the moleskinerie logo honours its parent, moleskine. therefor there's a stylized notebook icon in the middle, after the name 'moleskine'. but: the notebook also is an open door. easy to read. and the door also refers to traveling, the wide world (web), opening (new opportunities, ideas), and exploring other dimensions.
the font used is a handwritten free font, called inkburrow. which refers to non-digital writing (it still exists!) and individuality.
finally, the letters in the colors of the rainbow, symbolize a whole range of ideas and possibilities.
