The Phoenix Design Academy presents a mobile steam cooking unit. What is innovative about the cooking unit is that meals with different cooking times can be prepared at the same time. The design concept is influenced by the fascinating gastronomic culture in China – and it is designed to offer business people the opportunity to prepare fresh meals quickly and in style every day,even on hectic working days. A solution for a global problem.
The concept was developed by Ying Ying Ni as part of her diploma thesis
under the supervision of the Phoenix Design Academy. The well-known Stuttgart
design studio promotes selected students in the development of visionary
concepts with the Academy’s programme: “The Phoenix Academy is a design
laboratory for creative experiments and visions. In this free space experienced
designers and young talents meet to design the world of tomorrow,” state the
two Phoenix Design founders, Andreas Haug and Tom Schönherr.
