We designed the memorial hall, ceremony hall, columbarium and cemetery as an integrated one. The space of ground floor is totally opened with functions of ceremony hall, offices, religion ceremony hall and VIP room, utilizing the super scale structure to support columbarium center and forming a floating island. Ashes and remains are restored into those elastic glass columns which are arranged regularly in the space to form a parametric feeling. The transparency level of glass columns could be changed by the digital controllers. So the people, who follow the ground symbols, can find ashes and remains. The spatial openness and corridors provide more space for break, meditation and memory.

The columns reflect the cemetery coordinate on the third floor. The innovation design of gravestone presents a life dynamic. Those gravestones are made by one half transparent materials and manufactured by mold for convenience. In order to create a mirror reflection effect to present a dream feeling concept for cemetery space, a water pipe system is built into the roof structure to provide a very shallow and peaceful water surface on the roof. The water resource is coming from the rain water collection. And lighting power is coming from solar energy.

We are trying to integrate the opened social functions and private memorial functions, and also trying to remove the boundaries for tradition, religion and culture by presenting such a peaceful space and the surreal perspective. All the related people can experience the universal love beyond time and space at last. Let the dying people face to death with happiness and calm. And those people, who lost their families, finally will be free from the painful and sadness.
