The main task of the project is to create a music&arts center and unify, at the same time, both sides of Mexican neighbourhood of Satélite, which is fragmented by a highway. There are three gardens in the surroundings of the site, how to unify them for having a continuous green promenade saving without making an underground high way?
The solution consists in an organic concrete layer, perforated and bended for having natural light in the ground floor and solve the pedestrian flow. The programmatic volumes are dispersed under this perforated sheet and are the main structural elements with the communication cores and acoustic walls. With this project, Satélite will be unified and will have a continuous cultural and ludic space.
