metal folds by vincenzo de luce from italy
designer's own words:
Creativity means turning a Beck’s beer label in a “metal origami” and then imagining it like your ideal space.
Walls, ceiling and the counter are covered with steel plates folded till becoming sparkling surfaces where lights are reflected.
The floor is made of resin, lamps are hidden in the false ceiling, so that there is diffused lighting without seeing any devices, and all the colours make you think of Beck’s beer.
The space is organized with a large working area provided with a storage and an high deejay console. The long metal wall in front of the counter is the ideal place for exhibitions while the one at the end of the room hides toilets.
Here you can sit with your friends sipping Beck’s beer or you can stay at the counter to meet new people but you can also come here to dance at the sound of underground music or to look at the avant-garde artists shown here.
This is a place for people who don’t know what boredom means, for people who don’t believe in everything they breathe!
This is a place for people who choose to live…
