designer's own words:
metronomad is composed of three pieces; the briefcase; the carry-on and the trunk. the innovation of this luggage comes in the form of
the column. when all three pieces are attached together, it forms a single cohesive unit (or column) that allows the user to move effortlessly through airports and onto their final destinations.
the column also serves as a standing height work surface - perfect for those who need to get some last minute work done
before that big meeting and for filling out forms or getting a bite in while waiting in those long airport lines.
materials used in this luggage are from renewable, repurposed and sustainable sources wherever possible. metronomad’s design is a take on the traditional vintage trunk style luggage constructed with modem and innovative materials. the use of wood veneer panels are a unique and unconventional material that pays homage to the traditional styling as well as adding an air of elegance and luxury as seen in high end automobiles.
