Meridian was born by the ancient concept of time detection through the observation of the sun. It is a solar watch reinterpreted in a modern way using modern technology. The longer clock hand was shaped according to the internal shape of the clock to simulate the effect of the central pin (meridian), which casts its shadow on the clock face. On the other side of the hand, there is a sun to complete the concept. To emphasize the idea of ​​the sundial, the longer hand is used to read the hours (0-24), while the shorter the minutes. When night falls and the light fades, the circle placed on the dial lights up and the hand creates a shadow (a dark space in the circle of light),allowing the reading time in the dark. The body is made in steel and the dial is in carbon fiber material. The strap is leather or black silicone. Finally, the body case is made in glass and it cover the dial on the sides in according with truncated cone profile.
