mechandle by giorgio cattano from netherlands
designer's own words:
the handle is decomposed into its parts and redesigned underlining the role of each piece.
the visual result is a mechanical object with a functional aesthetic.
at the same time it is a flexible product, which can be composed in different settings.
a more sophisticated option adds a visible mechanism that holds the spring and replaces the rose.
in this option the metal parts could have different colours to exalt the mechanism’s structure.
