The work for flower design -to promote the city of Matsuyama on a globa scale..
For the global audience the idea of Matsuyama will be first captured by the idea of japan ..and knowing that it is a part of japan that still brings out its past with much authenticity.
i have put up two designs - one captures the change in time -the colors of confusion and prominence with a motion feel and the other showing the clam and tranquility of the nation...
Both the designs general idea starts with the prominent red sun of japan and the sakura which guides the eyes to the beautiful Matsuyama castle and going down to what it is ,the city of living history.. with a quote from famous Haiku poet Masaoka Shiki- 'cross the sea to find sea again' -beautifully telling the world that one never gets tired of crossing the seas and exploring . the theme 'flowers' -i have used it to portrait a certain genteelness of the country and space by the soft appeal it gives in the poster.
