Write up :Machchair, chair inspired by mosquitoes wandering here and there. In this era Cycle of old style are being dumped ,hence in our classroom project we tried to design with the cycle’s parts & redesign a new product .Here, Cycle handle ,reutilizing the childhood remembrance of sitting on Dad’s cycle handle ,we designed this easily easy to produce ,portable and stackable for a informal interactive spaces like our very own chai(tea) corner ,outdoor sitting ,etc
The Course “Construction –Deconstruction” inspired us to construction of seating ideation by deconstructing Cycles Identity .
Culture taken in consideration: Indian Chai(tea) stall corners at roadside ,informal interaction spaces .Material used: 30 mm dia steel pipe for prototype,Ms rod for final product ,Bicycle handle (medium size ),Waste used water plastic pipe (transparent ),Acrylic reflectors(glows in dark) ,3 no. Of rubber stopper.
Duration for production 5-6 working hours for one complete product. Production of unit of even numbers helps in reducing the time of production and cost .
Cost estimated : 550 Indian rupees.
