When I thought of Moleskin logo, the characterstics which came to my mind were

honesty, simplicity, subtle and elegance.

I have here used the profile of a moleskin sketchbook and by keeping them next to each other I have attained character M.
M, is the character I strongly relate to the brand name.

The logo can be used used as an emboss on the notebook and other stationary as well. This, will be used on top of the exisiting depressed characters on the cover of the book. This will create an element of surprise which would be very subtle and yet joyful, when the fingers of a user would hover over it.
