designer's own words:
first, i developed a special anniversary logo to commemorate the LVQR 90th anniversary and this, in order to protect original brand identity integrity, and, centered the brand identity at the heart of all the various designs ideations.
my experience with lvqr cheese brand started, as many, during my childhood. There is an obvious emotional dimension – lvqr is an affective brand –. to graphically translate this feeling, I have included a discreet small “heart” under the cow’s chin (between the 9 and O digits).
Second point is, that lvqr is multi gens brand, with a graphic history, values, all related to France. This is the reason why I have designed within a “French” style in mind (vintage oval shape; Vichy fabric print, National flag colors etc…). However, stripes are offering a more modern style/lines allowing a mixing of styles for a “yesterday + today” graphic signature.
This trendy alliance gets all is visibility with the IT bags and T-shirts samples.
