løv

løv by nic snowden from australia

designer's own words:

through a process of sketching, designs were evaluated by their functionality and aesthetic principles. the løv handle mimics a leaf budding from the door jamb. the decorative edge bordering the rose blends the rose to the doors surface creating the illusion of a narrower profile. the slim, simple grip allows the contemporary shape of the løv rose to become the feature. cast from brass, løv’s body connects to a standard spring cassette inside a 50mm rose. a grub screw fixes to an 8mm spindle through the underside of the handle. available in a range of finishes.
