The LoRez system of furniture accessories is a fun interpretation of bit-mapped computer game graphics. The collection consists of decorative incandescent lamps, bed and lounge pillows, sidetables, and coffee tables, storage shelves, and a digital alarm clock. The side tables and coffee tables are large rotationally molded structures. This allows for excellent durability while maintaining the mood of the overall aesthetic. The pillows are skinned urethane foam that allows for a uniform “computer generated” sheen and can take lots of abuse. The lamps, alarm clock, and shelving consist of injection molded tinted plastic with a gloss finish. The lamps and alarm clock have textured interior finishes to diffuse light and, in the case of the clock, create a softly glowing appearance on the digital readout. This all adds up to a fun, original, and reconfigurable set of casual furniture accessories.
