'light engraved' clock by makoto yamaguchi from japan
designer's own words:
Innumerable twinkles of small crystal glasses gather and cohere, the Swarovski swan figure on the desk clock. This will appear just like light engraving. The figure of the swan emerges on the surface where the apexes of the crystal glass line up pointing in the same direction. There are 3 types of crystal glass with the pyramid form. These pieces are with sides 1 × 1 mm long. They are arranged at random in the background area, and made even in the figure area, so that the figure of the swan emerges on the shining surface.
The momentary impression is changed by light as time passes.
