Leva due by aude genton from switzerland
designer's own words:
"leva due" door handle seems to be made from an assembly of a cylinder and a flat rectangular profile bended, actually it is one piece. the design underlines the functions: the bar used as a lever, and the cylinder transmitting the movement to the latch. the cylinder seems to stay fixe as the handle turns.
the junction between the two shapes is reinforced by a radius that also helps manufacturing the piece.
