When we combine the industrial production of goods with our knowledge of ecological systems, we can create products that do not merely extract precious resources from the earth, but also recycle energy back into nature's efficient nutrient cycling systems. With the right economic incentives to the private sector, we can give new life to industry, allowing it to co-exist with nature in a prosperous and sustainable relationship.
