Ledison is inspired by traditional Asian paper lanterns.

Despite all the advantages that have regular LED bulbs over classic incandescent lamps, they don’t look pretty and don’t exploit light source qualities.

The goal of the concept is to valorize LED source properties by distributing Light Emitting Diodes along the object perimeter in order to obtain more uniformity and light diffusion through a fabric membrane.

Actually, Ledison is more than just a lightbulb, but all-in-one light source diffuser. You have a lamp and a lampshade in one object.

Another advantage of Ledison is its flexibility. It is simple to install with a standard socket screw. Ledison can be used in a group or as a single object. It is your decision how to use it: as suspended, floor or table lamp. You can easily replace light bulbs and lampshades of your existing lamps with Ledison.
