Inexpensive to make and to own, this wire sculpture/toy/lamp stands approximately ten inches tall. The head is a smiling, semi translucent sphere with a bright LED at its core. The body is flexible, rubber coated wire with a 9v battery serving as both the torso and power source. The LED sips the battery’s power without generating any heat - resulting in a safe, long lasting light source. Spring steel is used across the hips as a clamp to secure the legs to the battery. The feet are weighted and oversized for added stability, making it easier to pose in a wide variety of stances. Available in any color, this product could also feature interchangeable heads, hands and feet.
Display one on a coffee table. Dangle one from the lip of a shelf. Use dozens to light a path or link them arm in arm and string them across the room. With endless possible poses, its amusing uses are limitless.
