Leaf

designer's own words:

since a few years ago, there has been an increasing interest in the environment, which resulted in a profound rise of the naturalism. and, it is expected that such a trend will continue for some time to come. as many of the elements in the interior design, such as the wall paper and furniture that are made of or made after the natural material or figures in the nature, the door handles should follow suit with such a tendency.
in consideration of such a life style as introduced above, we re-interpreted the ‘leaf’
which already had been used as the motif for the designing of door handles for quite
some time in a modern sense. the work piece titled ‘Leaf’ well reflects the natural
curves of the leaves, making it a very curvy, smooth door handle that goes well with
the natural-styled interior atmosphere. in general, the smooth curve of the figure is
combined with the natural curvy lines on the sides to give a cool look. especially, it is a thing of beauty when looked at from the point of view of the users. also, for firmer and safer grips, the sharp edges on the figure have been eliminated. this door handle gives a visual impression that reminds a leaf sprouting out from the door, mitigating the feeling of isolation and separation and giving a sense of life.
