Concept: A graphically tiled staircase harnessing the opposing forces of the Tsunami wave and volcanic lava flow. From the viewpoint at the base of the staircase the graphic Tsunami waveform has the effect of pulling you up with the force of the pattern. As you descend, the facing steps reveal a dark rocky lava surface flowing down gracefully. The patterns represent both extremes in the force of gravity. Climbing and descending the Lava/Wave is an adventure, easy on the mind and body.
