designer's own words:
I designed a light using two non-returnable 5l watercontainers.
The light consists of a concrete base with the technical parts, the switch and the lampsocket and an upper part, the lampshade. The concrete base is made using the lower part of a watercontainer as a mould. By eliminating the mould a perfect formed concrete surface is obtained. Then another lower part of the second watercontainer has to be taken and put the other way round on the base. It fits perfectly. The bulp is a 15W normally used in refrigerators, which produces enough light to read a book.
