design- the handle should have a very glossy finish to give interesting reflections preferred finish would be polished chrome. the concept was derived from fluid surfaces and by giving it a ribbon like quality achieving a sort of graceful weightlessness like a ribbon.
usability -the pressure points with be on the top surface which is thicker. the lower band is essentially sculptural to complete the looping. the knot here acts as a support for the thumb. the void in between the loop gives the form a lightness.
