Kiosko has just opened in Barcelona on the edge of the Born district as one of the first gourmet hamburger restaurant in the city. They make simple and healthy hamburgers with ecologic ingredients. All the sauses they serve are home made. (http://www.kioskoburger.com/)
According to the hamburgers the design of the restaurant is also based on simplicity, good materials and handcrafting. The restaurant is self service. We designed the space together with our clients who placed great emphasis to find a playful and easy way for ordering. The restaurant is furnished with narrow tables on three levels along the walls and some wide central ones. Part of the furniture is costume designed and made, some are vintage pieces.
The project is a mixture of reinterpretation of the exisiting space and small interventions. The result is a clear, fresh and dynamic environment.
