Kimono Ringo

Kimono Ringo by Rika Ogawa from japan

designer's own words:

I explained the charm of Hirosaki city, which lies in the wealth of nature and cultural diversity harmonizing with the surroundings such as other cities or countries. Mainly designed apples(fruits and flowers) and Sakura, a shape of the Hirosaki park(upper-right corner) as symbols of this city which are very reminiscent of Japanese traditional Kimono. Also included a yin-yang diagram which stands for 'Balance (or/and harmony)' inside a big apple frame. Ink pens, acrylic and colored pencils are used for this work and it is all freehand without the use of ay guiding or measuring instruments.
