designer's own words:
made in brass (due to its self-disinfecting effect), with chrome finishing, this door handle with clean lines and soft curves is meant to be used indoors.
the handle (or “blade of the key”) has a cylindrical shape, with 12cm of length and 1,5cm of diameter. it connects to a round part (the “bow of the key”) with 3,5cm of diameter and a 2,5cm slight concavity in the middle of it.
the door handle is attached to the door through a circular shaped rose plate, with 4,5cm of diameter and 1cm of thickness.
the locking mechanism is placed separately, with a circular piece to introduce the key of 4cm of diameter and 0,5cm of thickness.
the “tooth of the key” at the end of the door handle is meant to enable its usage in unconventional ways, like using an elbow instead of a hand, preventing it from sliding without opening the door. this tooth is 1,2cm long at the top and 0,8cm at the base, with 0,9cm of thickness and 0,7cm of height.
