designer's own words:

The concept Kanso took inspiration from traditional Japanese Origami, paper folding into shapes. Kanso is a candles holders ‘look-alike’; it creates an illusion that they are long white candles. However, they are actually tealight candles inserted onto graphical colour printed cardboards that resembles long white candles place onto candle holders.

Made from recycled printed cardboards and with a simple form that can be flat-packed, Kanso only requires low manufacturing and shipping cost. Yet it is still aesthetically appealing. At the end of the party, a user can just conveniently recycle back the cardboard or dispose it.

Kanso is used to create ambience during outdoors or indoors party. It can be placed anywhere, whether on the dinning table or at a chill out corner during a party. The user can choose to buy a few and place them in any orientation, whether in a single straight row or forming a square, etc.
