KALO // concrete dinnerware

KALO is based on the simple idea of dinner-/ tableware made of UHPC concrete combined with a chopping board made of Thermowood. A special coating gives bowls, plates and cups a foodresistant and hydrophobic surface. Alternative to porceallaine, concrete doesn't has to be fired, which offers a quicker production and an ecological solution.
Because of the Thermowood, the chopping board (which can be used as a lid on the plates as well), enables the owner to clean it in the dishwasher.
