Kairo reminds us of the oriental bead and crystal floating partitions. This effect is obtained thanks to its aluminium honeycomb stucture. Vertical clusters are then filled with differently colored and translucid polyethylene fillers. The whole is then sandwiched between two slightly frosted PMMA sheets. The whole is then framed with an aluminium (could be wood as well) to allow for door lock and hinges fixation.
This effect results in giving the door fluidity as it lets light come through while maintaining a certain degree of privacy. A welcomed visual continuity is the main character of this design.
This door would be suitable for interior of homes and especially for living rooms, kitchen, bathrooms.
