designer's own words:
Life and Death:
As designers, it is important that when it comes to any subject, but more specifically life and death, we design not a place, but a adjustable and evolving scenario.
If we put aside all religions and beliefs and focus on what really unites us as human beings, perhaps we could change our perception of death.
In soul: A walkway thru someone’s life journey and a celebration of the good memories they have left us. As you enter the walkway, you will begin to read the chronological life journey of the departed, and your footsteps (thru the use of energy generating panels) will activate the memories that are left behind. This walkway is meant to be adapted to any culture or belief, and it's most important purpose is to create a positive environment and a positive engagement between life and death. It is flexible to any culture, city or place (interior/exterior). It is not our physical presence that is the most important, it is our spiritual presence and our memories that will forever live.
